Designed for nearfield monitoring, the KH 120 II targets sound engineers, mixers, and demanding creators in broadcast, OB vans, demo studios, and recording environments. It also excels for event streaming and mobile setups where rooms constantly change. Its guided calibration and room adaptation presets ensure reliable mix translation whether you work in a treated control room, home studio, or on the road.
The integrated DSP manages linear phase crossovers for exemplary temporal coherence between woofer and tweeter. With the optional MA 1 measurement microphone, the speaker automatically aligns to your room acoustics by compensating for resonances and irregularities. Switches also allow manual adjustment when needed.
The redesigned MDF enclosure provides rigidity and damping, while the MMD (Mathematically Modeled Dispersion) waveguide optimizes directivity to widen the ?sweet spot? and stabilize the stereo image. The new woofer delivers deeper, controlled bass, and the independent electronic protection for tweeter and woofer ensures high reliability at sustained levels.
