This v4 version brings concrete improvements in the transducers and electronics: new fiberglass woofer, new neodymium dome tweeter, and fully redesigned active crossover. The goal is clear: faster, more dynamic, and more natural reproduction while maintaining a signature suited for monitoring.
With their 8-inch format and bi-amplified power, the Pro8 v4 are designed for mixing, editing, and production in both home studios and project studios. They are particularly suited for contemporary music where low-end clarity is important, while remaining usable at close listening distances thanks to the front port. To further reinforce the very low frequencies, they can be paired with a subwoofer (such as the Pro 10S v4) to extend the system into sub-bass territory.
The 8-inch woofer features a fiberglass cone, chosen for increased rigidity and responsiveness. The result: cleaner bass sensation, better-defined transients, and more reliable attack reproduction (kick, bass, toms), useful for setting compression, EQ, and levels without overestimating the low end.
