Essential Information About the Fender Vintera® II ?50s Nocaster® Guitar

  • 50?s Authenticity: alder body, thick maple neck with a "U" profile, 7.25" radius for that vintage-era feel.

  • Legendary Twang Tele: two "fifties" single-coil Tele pickups for bright clarity and snappy mids.

  • 3-Saddle Brass Bridge: precise attack, tight sustain, and vintage-style intonation.

  • Subtle Modern Reliability: stable vintage-style tuners, 21 "Vintage Tall" frets for smooth bends.

A Tribute to the Original "Nocaster"

Born in the early 1950s, the "Nocaster" shaped the sound of early country and rock?n?roll recordings. The Vintera® II ?50s Nocaster® captures the understated aesthetic and key specifications of that era, while fitting into the Vintera® II lineup: Fender instruments with historic looks and feel, designed for the contemporary stage.

Who Is It For and What Styles?

Ideal for ambitious beginners to intermediate players seeking an authentic Tele, it excels in country, rockabilly, blues, classic rock and is also welcome in indie and funk. The thick "U" neck offers support and rhythmic comfort, while the vintage tall frets facilitate lead control and wide vibratos.

Sound

The 50s Tele single-coil pickups deliver a crisp, airy treble at the bridge, perfect for chicken-picking, and a warmer, rounder tone at the neck for rich rhythm playing. The alder/maple combination enhances quick response and definition, while the 25.5" / 648 mm scale length tightens the strings for precise attack and generous dynamics. The 3-saddle brass bridge adds grain and brightness, and the simple electronics (volume, tone, 3-position selector) provide a direct and effective palette, faithful to the golden age Telecasters.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To preserve the original feel, opt for a 009?042 string set (factory gauge). A curved capo suited to the 7.25" radius ensures optimal intonation across the fretboard. When traveling, complement the included gig bag with a Telecaster-style hard case for maximum protection, and an adjustable strap with classic strap locks, compatible with vintage-style strap buttons.

Quality guitar, very successful in terms of finishes and assembly. This new series called "Vintera II" is overall a high-end version of the previous "Vintera" series of Fender guitars made in Mexico. They really improved everything on the wood selection, manufacturing quality, finishes, and electronics. It is really an excellent guitar and it is actually the only Mexican Fender in my possession because it is truly of better quality than the instruments from other series of Fender guitars made in Mexico.
