To design the Paranormal Esquire® Deluxe, we imagined what Fender’s very first model would have become if it had evolved in the 1970s. To achieve this, we combined the simplicity of a single pickup with innovative features and aesthetic elements from that era. The Fender-Designed Wide Range pickup offers different tonal options, accessible via a three-position rotary switch. You can choose between a single-coil sound, a humbucker-type sound, and a humbucker-type sound with volume and tone bypass. The guitar also features a vintage-style string-through fixed bridge that ensures optimal body resonance, a slim and comfortable “C” shaped neck with a glossy finish that looks stunning, as well as vintage-style tuners for precise and smooth tuning.
