Modern interpretation of Tibetan singing bowls. The Crystal Singing Bowl 10? Chakra has a diameter of approx. 25 cm and is made of quartz crystal. The material used has excellent sound properties due to a special manufacturing process in which glass is melted and then centrifuged into the desired shape. The instrument is visually rounded off by a chic frosted glass design with a rough surface and a colorful gradient. Crystal singing bowls, like their traditional bronze or brass alloy counterparts, produce spherical, long-lasting sounds with a powerful keynote and ?singing?, harmonious overtones. In direct comparison, the modern glass version sounds even clearer and significantly longer than its metallic counterpart. Tuned to one of the seven main chakras Each Crystal Singing Bowl in the Chakra series is tuned and colored to match one of the seven energy centers of traditional chakra theory. This makes them particularly suitable for meditation, sound massages and therapeutic purposes, as the harmonious sound of the singing bowls can help to reduce stress and harmonize body and mind. The blue 10? model is aligned with the throat chakra and the note G. With the 432 Hz version, the standard concert pitch A is not at the standard western frequency of 440 Hz, but at 432 Hz. This tuning is said to have a particularly relaxing and calming effect, among other things. However, this tuning does not harmonize with conventionally tuned instruments. It has an Asian Schima wood handle that sits comfortably in the hand and a rubber head that allows for both gentle striking and rubbing of singing bowls. Depending on the playing technique and intensity, the Crystal Singing Bowl can be used to elicit a variety of different tones. In addition, a silicone ring is included to ensure a secure stand and optimal vibration behavior of the bowl - so it can develop its full sound potential at all times.
