Modern interpretation of Tibetan singing bowls. The Crystal Singing Bowl 8? Chakra has a diameter of about 20 cm and is made of quartz crystal. The material used has excellent sound properties due to a special manufacturing process in which glass is melted down and brought into the desired shape by a centrifuge. The instrument is visually rounded off by a chic frosted glass design with a rough surface and a colorful gradient. Crystal singing bowls, like their traditional bronze or brass alloy counterparts, produce spherical, long-lasting sounds with a powerful keynote and ?singing?, harmonious overtones. In direct comparison, the modern glass version sounds even clearer and significantly longer than its metallic counterpart. Tuned to one of the seven main chakras Each Crystal Singing Bowl in the Chakra series is color- and tone-tuned to one of the seven energy centers of the traditional chakra teachings. This makes them particularly suitable for meditation, sound massages and therapeutic purposes, as the harmonious voice of the singing bowls can help to reduce stress and harmonize body and mind. The violet 8? model is aligned with the crown chakra and tuned to the note B. The 432 Hz version is tuned to the note A, but not to the standard western frequency of 440 Hz, but to 432 Hz. This tuning is said, among other things, to have a particularly relaxing and calming effect. However, this tuning does not harmonize with conventionally tuned instruments. It should be played either alone or together with other 432 Hz instruments, such as our Sela Unity handpans. Useful accessories included in the scope of delivery: The Crystal Singing Bowl Chakra comes with a wooden mallet that has been specially developed for use with crystal singing bowls. It has a handle made of Asian Schima wood that sits comfortably in the hand and a rubber head that allows you to gently strike as well as rub singing bowls. Depending on the playing technique and intensity, the Crystal Singing Bowl can be used to elicit a variety of different tones. In addition, a silicone ring, which is included, ensures that the bowl stands securely and vibrates optimally - so it can develop its full sound potential at all times.
