Just like the original Heavyweight models, the Heavyweight Dry snare drum heads offer excellent durability and a compressed attack, and additionally feature UV-hardened sanding that further enhances their toughness, as well as precisely drilled vents to reduce unwanted overtones and dampen sustain. The two 10-mil film thicknesses make the Heavyweight Dry heads exceptionally durable, and their 3-mil Reverse Dot patch increases their durability and definition at the center of each head. Overall, the sanded Heavyweight Dry heads provide a moderate attack, short sustain, and a balanced tonal character while eliminating unwanted overtones. They are thus ideal for the most energetic drummers in rock and metal genres. This sanded head incorporates Level 360 technology.
