There are several ways to write "REN" in Japanese, for example ? (love), ? (communication, connection), or ? (lotus). Imaginary Paintings is a work in 3 movements: "REN I," "REN II," and "REN III." They are based on the Japanese spirit where space is very important to create the image, which is a place of expansion, and it is also a place where the audience can draw their imagination from.
Composed in 2020 and 2021, these Imaginary Paintings were created on January 13, 2021, at the Recital Hall of the Hyogo Prefectural Theater by YK Company with Pierre Monty as the guest soloist.
