Harmonic and Optical Dual Tremolo
After 2 years of development, we are thrilled to announce the second product in the Jackson Audio and Silvertone pedal line. Here is the Twin Trem, the ultimate analog tremolo effect pedal for guitar.
The Twin Trem offers 2 distinct tremolo effects:
- A harmonic tremolo on the right side (red LED)
- An optical tremolo on the left side (blue LED)
Each tremolo is equipped with independent Speed, Depth, and Volume controls. These tremolos can be used separately as standalone effects or combined (magenta LED) to create rich, unique, and percussive sounds. Both sides also include LEDs that visually display their speed, making it easy to synchronize the two tremolos.
The Twin Trem features 4 top-mounted jacks, providing flexible signal routing. You can use it as a standard pedal by inputting the signal through the first jack and outputting it through the last. Alternatively, you can route the signal first through the Harmonic side, then send it to a reverb or another effect, and finally into the Optical side, thus preserving the classic placement of the optical tremolo after the reverb, as found in many amplifiers.
This opens up endless possibilities for integrating the Twin Trem with other effects in your signal chain. If you have a stereo setup, the right side can be processed by the harmonic tremolo, while the left side goes through the optical tremolo. The Twin Trem offers full control over the placement of the tremolo before and after effects, making it an essential tool for designing a complete setup.
