Ernie Ball is proud to announce two new sets of ukulele strings with ball ends featuring a wound low G string with a diameter of 0.030". This new gauge combination is ideal for players who want to tune their ukulele using the "Low G" tuning, which is more similar to traditional guitar tuning. These new ukulele strings are made from 100% nylon monofilament, while the G string is made from nylon multifilament wrapped with 80/20 bronze. Ernie Ball Ukulele strings feature a ball end for easy installation. They are made in traditional clear resin for a bright and balanced sound with excellent projection, and in black resin for a warm and rich tone with a punchy attack.
