Undoubtedly the best rack digital mixer on the market. I have already had a Soundcraft UI as well as an RCF 18 but the Behringer XR 18 is far ahead. Not least because of its 18-in/18-out sound card side without noise, the quality of its Midas preamps or the routing possibilities. Moreover, it can be controlled by tablet, smartphone or computer via the Ethernet port. On each channel strip, a phantom power per channel as well as a gate/expander, an EQ and a compressor. 4 independent effect racks to choose from a range of standard or creative effects complete this compact rackable mixer (mounting ears are provided). Finally, not only can you save scenes, effect presets and channel strip presets that can be found online, but it will also be possible to create snapshots of your settings to switch from one configuration to another in the blink of an eye. Finally, I didn't even need a manual to get started but if needed there are plenty of tutorial videos to make the most of the many possibilities offered by this little sister of the X32 that has everything of a big one.
