Complete software
Harmony Engine EVO is a vocal harmonizer plug-in designed to quickly create realistic harmonies, enhance a topline, or invent original vocal textures in production. It is aimed at vocal arrangers who want to build clean and coherent choirs, songwriters seeking an immediate "supporting voice" for demos, or producers exploring stacking and vocal transformation effects. Integrated into your DAW, it allows you to transform a single sung take into a complete arrangement while maintaining control over musicality (intervals, scales, chords) and the timbral identity of the generated voices.
Harmony Engine EVO offers four harmony voices that can be processed separately, with formant correction to preserve a credible timbre during pitch shifts. Each voice has dedicated parameters to adjust character, vibrato, volume, and panning. The result: you place your harmonies in the stereo field like a true arrangement (tight doubling in the center, wide thirds on the sides, more subtle responses in the background) without losing clarity.
The CHOIR section adds an immediate choral dimension: with five channels of multiplication, you enrich each voice into 2, 4, or 8 unison voices. This is particularly effective for thickening a chorus, creating modern stacks (pop, electro, RnB), or simulating a small vocal ensemble without layering dozens of takes. The tool maintains a musical approach: the goal is not just to "fatten" the sound but to give a coherent and lively ensemble feeling.
The throat modeling technology allows processing each harmony voice through a physical model of the human vocal tract. You can thus influence the perception of placement and voice color, useful for differentiating harmonies from the lead voice or, conversely, bringing them closer for tight stacking. Additionally, the Humanizer function adds selectable variations to each voice to avoid a too static effect: ideal for achieving more realistic and organic choirs, even in dense arrangements.
To adapt to all production styles, Harmony Engine EVO offers different harmonization methods: on fixed intervals (direct and deliberate effect) or on staggered intervals to stay grounded in a musical logic. Control via chord sequences or MIDI chord control facilitates project integration: you can impose a harmonic progression, evolve harmonies in real time, and automate changes to follow verses, pre-choruses, and choruses precisely.
In production, speed matters. The preset harmony matrix with 15 settings allows quick harmony changes, in real time or via DAW automation. Additionally, the vocal parameter matrix offers quick recall of six different presets: handy for comparing several colors (softer, sharper, more choral) and switching from an intimate verse to a wide chorus without reprogramming everything.
