Oddity3 retains the fundamental architecture that made previous versions successful: two syncable oscillators, an authentic ring modulator, AR and ADSR envelopes, and a filter section featuring the three historic types (plus a highpass). The result: a responsive, expressive instrument with immediate presence in the mix.
With X-Modifiers, you have enormous modulation potential to push sound design far beyond the original behaviors. This approach allows transforming a classic patch into an evolving texture, movement, or much more experimental sounds, while preserving the raw and organic character of the synth.
Oddity3 adds dedicated tools for character: Distortion to dirty, thicken, or add bite, Reverb (Matrix Reverb) to add space, and an updated delay. The Vintage control introduces analog-style variations and imperfections to thicken the sound, soften it, or conversely make it more lively.
The new Preset Browser facilitates sorting, tagging, searching, and organizing your library. On the performance side, the four programmable Macros, extended velocity, and polyphonic aftertouch offer ideal expressive control for keyboardists and DAW automation.
