The core of Guitar Rig 7 Pro is an extensive selection of amplifier models and matching cabinets, ranging from classic to modern tones. Add to this a wide palette of processing effects: dynamics, EQ, saturation, modulation, pitch, filters, reverbs, and delays, plus special effects for out-of-the-box sounds. This richness covers the needs of demanding guitarists as well as producers looking for a fast and musical sound design tool.
With over 100 rack presets, you start with an immediately usable base, then adjust according to your playing, microphones, or mix. The component library and its clearly organized browser make creating logical chains (preamp, drive, modulation, ambience, correction) easy while encouraging experimentation. For credible sound, the "cabinet + microphone" stage is crucial. Guitar Rig 7 Pro offers speaker simulations with official impulse responses from OwnHammer and 3 Sigma Audio, with adjustable direct and room components to quickly find familiar tones. The Control Room module provides a classic cabinet with eight microphones per preset, each with its own fader to mix the mics like in a studio.
The Loop Machine Pro module is designed to create loops, layer parts, store ideas, and energize a performance. It integrates naturally into your chain: you can switch from a clean sound to a lead loaded with effects, then build a rhythmic loop to improvise over, all within a coherent environment.
