The new editing window offers a visual approach to create, understand, and modify your patterns. You can start from a preset, make a variation, or build a sequence from scratch over six octaves (C0 to C6), managing accents, slides, pitch changes, and other user-defined settings. The Randomize/Generate functions allow generating a wide variety of ideas, then refining them to find the perfect line.
Play Modes and Variations: From Classic Acid to Controlled Chaos
To multiply musical directions without changing your pattern, the software TB-303 offers five play modes: Forward, Reverse, Fwd & Rev, Invert, and Random. Add to this eight variations per pattern, and you get a powerful tool to evolve a bass line through a break, build-up, or drop while maintaining the "303" identity.
Expanded Memory and Presets for Quick Start
Memory increases to 64 patterns and 64 patches per bank, with the ability to create new user banks. To produce immediately, the plug-in includes 32 preset patterns and 48 ready-to-use sounds, covering textures from round and controlled bass to aggressive and saturated lines.
"Secret" Panel and Built-in Effects
An additional panel unlocks very effective colorization functions: VCF Trim, Vintage Condition, and Master Tune, to adjust filter response, the "vintage feel" of the virtual instrument, and tuning. On the processing side, built-in effects include a Drive block (with multiple types) and a Delay with tempo synchronization, perfect for thickening the sequence and placing it front and center in an arrangement.
