EZbass is a virtual bass instrument designed to speed up writing and production, whether you're working on a demo, a full song, or a soundtrack. The goal is simple: to allow you to add a convincing bass to your tracks, with musical interpretation and rhythmic coherence, while keeping control over every detail. It suits both pop/rock production and modern styles requiring a precise and well-placed bass in the mix.
At the heart of EZbass is a MIDI approach designed for creation: you have a base of performances and styles covering the most common uses, then you freely adjust the playing to fit your song. Customization is designed to stay fluid: you modify, organize, and refine parts directly within the EZbass environment without interrupting your inspiration.
The "Bass" view is the main workspace: it displays your selected instrument and the notes played in real time, while providing immediate access to the Effects and Tuning sections. The song track, always available (collapsible or hideable), serves as the central point to organize your song's arrangement and control the MIDI elements related to your bass performance.
To finalize the sound without multiplying inserts, EZbass includes a mixing module and predefined multi-effects. You benefit from numerous parameters (over 300 announced), including parametric EQ, filter, compressor, limiter, exciter, reverb, delay, phaser, and chorus, allowing you to adapt the bass to your production, from vintage grain to modern and percussive rendering.
