Designed to reduce wind noise during an external sound recording, the DeadCat VMP + combines an open cell foam envelope with an outer layer of acoustically transparent artificial fur. A rubber base, designed to fit perfectly and reliably to the VMP + microphone, prevents any wind noise from entering the rear of the microphone capture area.
The DeadCat VMP + is only compatible with the VideoMic Pro + (marketed in September 2017). For other models of VideoMic Pro, please refer to DeadCat VMP and DeadCat VMPR.
