Nux expands its Mini Core series with new mini pedals, as compact but powerful as ever! Now it's the Hook drum & loop mini's turn to bring the brand's looper + drum machine expertise to an ultra-compact format. Functionality is stripped down to the essentials for this mini size, but the controls are clever and efficient! The Hook is a mini looper and drum machine pedal, designed for easy creation of guitar/bass loops and accompaniment with 11 different rhythm styles. Playback volumes for the loop and rhythm sections are independent, with two separate potentiometers. The looper allows up to 6 minutes of recording, with an unlimited number of overdubs. The footswtich controls the looper functions, while the switch at the top of the pedal starts or stops the rhythm, and also serves as a Smart Tape Tempo function to indicate the tempo at the tip of a finger. But note that the pedal will automatically detect the tempo of the loop you're recording! The mini-jack headphone output is very practical for silent practice, and an alternative headphone volume control option is integrated. The USB-C port lets you import and export your sound loops in WAV format (44.1 kHz / 24 bit mono), and also update the pedal's firmware. Very compact but full of possibilities with its modern options, the Hook mini is a simple, clever drum & loop for creating your own loops and practicing rhythm at a mini price. It will easily find its place at the end of your pedalboard for your most nomadic uses!
