The beauty of the RAT 2 lies in its versatility, but it truly excels in rock sounds and is perfect for adding a boost to your solos and getting that extra punch you need.
The DISTORTION knob adjusts the distortion level of the effect (the further you turn it to the right, the more pronounced the effect). The FILTER knob allows you to "sculpt" the sound, by removing or retaining high frequencies (the further you turn it to the right, the more treble is removed and the more "rounded" the sound). The VOLUME knob adjusts the output level of the effect, independent of the distortion: the further you turn it to the right, the louder the output volume.
