Real-Time UAD Processing is one of the Apollo’s flagship features. It allows you to run the entire catalog of UAD plugins with almost zero latency. The Apollo Twin all Pultec equalizers, Unison UA 610 mic preamps and the Pure Plate Reverb. These high-end processors included in the Heritage Edition join the Realtime Analog Classics bundle that comes with the Apollo Twin X. No other professional audio interface comes with a collection of classic analog processor emulations as well complete.

The Apollo Twin Exclusive to Universal Audio, Unison technology features proprietary hardware/software integration that accurately reproduces the sound of these legendary tube and solid-state mic preamps — including their input impedance and stage sweet spots. gain and circuit behavior of the original models. You also find Unison technology on the Hi-Z instrument input on the front of the Apollo Twin X; it thus adapts the impedance and gain when you use guitar and bass amp models from Fender, Marshall, Ampeg, etc.
