Keyboard

• The Smart Hybrid Hammer Action Keyboard allows highly expressive play, from soft to powerful touch, through an advanced physical keyboard mechanism combined with digital control technology.
• Like an acoustic grand piano, the key mechanism uses the weight of the hammers to lighten the keys when played pianissimo but keeps them responsive when played fortissimo.
• The white keys are made from high-quality spruce/resin composite for a natural feel and finish.
• The white key finish recreates the natural grain of ivory, while the black keys feature a new matte finish resembling ebony in both appearance and feel.
• The 88-key digital keyboard detuning technology controls the volume individually for each key based on the force applied, with touch weight varying across the keyboard as with a grand piano.
• The four-stage Hammer Response setting adjusts the timing of the sound depending on the touch applied and the playing register, like an acoustic piano.
• The three levels of Key Off Response adjust the speed of sound decay when a key is released, allowing for slightly more legato or staccato playing depending on the song.
• The Key Off Simulator adjusts the speed of sound attenuation after a key is released based on the release speed, mimicking the subtle nuances of a grand piano’s response to the pianist’s expression, as seen in the PX-S5000.

Experience
