The API 512c is a mic/line/instrument preamplifier designed to provide great-sounding, low-noise input for all types of audio systems. Offering low noise (-129 EIN) and 65dB of gain, the 512c allows for phantom power, reverse polarity, -20dB attenuation and selection of mic, line or instrument input. The XLR and 6.35mm jack sockets on the front panel combined with the microphone access on the rear panel allow superior flexibility when the 512c is installed in a LunchBox 6 pack, a 10-position vertical rack, a 2-position horizontal rack or an API console .
