This EZX offers mix-ready sounds tailored for hard rock and metal with dark, warm, and organic tones. It was designed to deliver a polarizing sound, ideal compared to its counterpart, the Duality II EZX. Both EZXs were recorded by sound engineer Jakob Herrmann (Evergrey, Raised Fist, Amaranthe) and drummer Alex Landenburg (Kamelot, Cyhra, Mekong Delta) during the same session at Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Duality I EZX includes a full kit, six kicks, eight snares, and an impressive selection of cymbals.
In addition to the sounds, this EZX also includes a custom MIDI library and a collection of presets designed to offer different interpretations of the basic kit, as well as creative hybrids created from the wide selection of additional kicks, snares, and cymbals. When two objects—worlds, stars, planets, waves, storms—collide, they either form a clash of epic proportions, decimating nearly everything in their path, or they merge and blend into a cohesive and awe-inspiring force of energy. The Duality EZX perfectly exemplifies the latter. Welcome to two contrasting drum kits, balanced on polarizing sonic ideals—each excellent individually, but formidable together.
