It has always been our flagship range of 'high gain' amplifiers and is the most awarded line we have ever released. Here is the Series One MK II, an improved and optimized range designed to be the ultimate modern amplifier and speaker cabinet, specifically tailored to the needs of today’s metal guitarists. This evolution of the series marks a significant advance in high-performance 'high gain' amplification, with the Series One 100 MK II 4-channel head at the forefront – a high-gain amplifier designed to deliver incredibly tight rhythm tones and big saturated leads, without the unwanted 'whistle' often present in other models. This monster amplifier benefits from over 30 circuit modifications and tweaks compared to its predecessor, allowing us to confidently state that it is the pinnacle of 'high gain' amplification for today’s metal guitarists. The Series One 412 PRO A/B MK II cabinets, the perfect companions to this 'sonic weapon,' are equipped with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers exclusive to Blackstar and feature a special cabinet construction offering a more balanced midrange response. In addition to these sonic improvements, we have also revamped the aesthetics of the Series One MK II to give it a bolder, more robust, and contemporary look that stands out on stages of all sizes.
