Ibanez SRAS7 Electric Bass
Classic Elite Bass Pickup

The Classic Elite Bass pickups deliver a classic sound, punch, and extra power.
Controls

When the bass is in playing position, three small knobs are located on the lower edge of the body. From the bottom towards the neck, these are the piezo tone knob, the magnetic pickup treble knob, and the magnetic pickup bass knob. There are three knobs above the small knobs, closer to the bridge.
From the bottom towards the neck, these are the piezo volume knob, the magnetic pickup balance knob, and the magnetic pickup volume knob. There is a 3-way pickup selector very close to the end of the body, near the input jack. When the switch is in the Neck position, the piezo pickup is selected. When the selector is in the middle position, both the piezo and magnetic pickups are selected. When the switch is in the Bridge position, the magnetic pickup is selected.
You can adjust the piezo gain for the 5th, 6th, and 7th strings with the potentiometers located on the rear panel. To increase the gain, turn the potentiometers clockwise using a Phillips head screwdriver. To reduce the gain, turn the potentiometer counterclockwise. The potentiometers are aligned in string order.
Frequency Response

The bass boost/cut frequency curve features a peak at 20 Hz with a variable width that decreases towards the treble, and a curve whose variable width becomes zero around 1000 Hz. The variable width becomes slightly larger in the high range than around 1000 Hz, but returns to zero near 5000 Hz.
The variable range of the peak frequency is about ±15 dB. The treble boost/cut frequency curve creates a bell-shaped curve with a peak around 10,000 Hz and zero variable range around 100 Hz. The variable range of the peak frequency is about ±15 dB.
