The synthesizers that have elevated the Arturia brand to the pantheon of historic synthesizer brands. Whether it is the MiniBrute which was an unprecedented bestseller, the MiniBrute 2 that all schools and young musicians are fighting over, the MatrixBrute which is seen everywhere today, and now the PolyBrute voted synth of the year: with the Brute series you are touching Analog Synthesis with a capital A.
The Brute series is at the origin of the return of analog synthesizers. Arturia now offers a whole range from semi-modular monophonic to polyphonic allowing morphing.
It is back in a limited black finish! A true semi-modular analog synthesizer doubled with a triple sequencer inspired by the BeatStep Pro... Arturia never ceases to surprise us and above all to impress us.
A thoroughly analog synthesizer.
The MiniBrute 2S is a monophonic synthesizer using two VCOs following a 100% analog path up to the audio output. Arturia, wanting to push the concept to its limits, also chose not to include memories so as not to alter the analog signal with digital controllers. The famous multi-waveform VCO from the first MiniBrute is found in this new version as the first oscillator. A second VCO appears, allowing, notably, a sine waveform.
A triple sequencer derived from the famous BeatStep Pro.
The MiniBrute 2S also brings an element that no analog instrument can boast of having: a triple step or real-time sequencer modifiable at will. Whether for performances or studio sessions, this sequencer perfectly adapts to the situation at hand. Equipped with four tracks, it allows the assignment of the last two to external modules independently, which results in the availability of three sequence lines readable and editable in real time.
An instrument open to the world of modular synthesizers.
The MiniBrute 2S has its sides equipped with System Link connectors that allow securely attaching the Arturia RackBrute. This rack will allow you to add Eurorack format modules. You will thus be able to infinitely multiply the possibilities offered by this extraordinary synthesizer.
A bit of softness in a world of Brute.
The MiniBrute 2S features a new version of its filter that appeared with the first generation MiniBrute. Used gently and if it receives oscillators at low level, it will deliver a deep and wide sound. Of course, it can also become as sharp as desired if you push the oscillator levels and add a bit of Brute Factor.
48 input/output points: welcome to the world of semi-modular.
Unlike a pre-wired synthesizer where you must accept the manufacturer's choices, the semi-modular synthesizer allows you to intervene on these choices by connecting cables on its patch matrix. The MiniBrute 2S offers 48 input/output points that allow you to modify envelope assignments but also to transmit all this information analogically to external Eurorack modules.
