The Sub Octave Bass Fuzz delivers huge fuzz with big bass for a thick effect. To create this sonic monster, the engineers at MXR combined the Growl section of the Bass Octave Deluxe with a long-forgotten fuzz circuit. With three separate volume controls for the fuzz, the lower octave, and the dry signal, you can easily achieve the spacey sound you’re looking for without sacrificing the natural tone of your instrument. The Fuzz section is very versatile thanks to its multiple tone controls as well as a switch to choose between a warm, compressed fuzz and a bright, aggressive fuzz. The Mid+ level control allows the dry signal to stand out for more punch.
