The Japanese brand JICO has worked hard to offer audiophiles and DJs a replacement solution for the famous Shure M44G and N44G cartridges and styluses, true legends that have marked the history of Hip-Hop and scratching. On this Omnia J44D DJ SD, JICO has integrated a J44D SD moving magnet cartridge, offering performance equivalent to the Shure M44G cartridges of the time, with that characteristic sound that is both smooth, full, balanced, and very musical.

The SD range, standing for Synthetic Diamonds, uses synthetic diamonds instead of natural diamonds. Artificially created, these synthetic diamonds share the same optical and physical properties as natural diamonds, while offering very consistent performance at a controlled cost. Thanks to a diamond tip with an adjusted diameter and a new cantilever damping system, synthetic diamonds can deliver a pleasant and precise sound, more defined than a glued natural diamond, while maintaining a lifespan exceeding 200 hours.
