I used it with a guitar and then with a double bass that was previously connected directly to the mixing console. I had to turn the gain all the way up. With the DI 20 direct box, no more problems with gain or sound. Moreover, its price is very reasonable... Essential.

Everything is perfect for a modest price: I use it to take the line/headphone output from my amp (small Vox) and send BOTH CHANNELS to my external sound card via XLR. (20 or 40 dB attenuator) >Good sound - much better than direct. Perfect for Home Studio I also bought a Behringer ULTRA-DI DI100, not tested yet...
