The pedals in the G series are analog recreations of the channels from Revv's Generator 120 amplifier, functioning as preamps or "amp-in-a-box" pedals. The v2 series features significant circuit revisions, stemming from 10 years of amplifier development and 6 years of pedals, providing an organic feel. The G2 model is based on the Green channel, a Nashville favorite known for its versatile tones. This series enhances resonance, sustain, and "sag" for a classic character at all gain levels.
The G2 has 3 Drive modes controlled by a central selector. While they can be roughly considered as controlling the amount of distortion (Off = least, Blue = medium, Red = most), these 3 modes significantly alter the pedal's performance.
