In 1992, two entrepreneurial minds, Ole Brøsted Sørensen and Morten Støve, left Brüel & Kjær and began a transformation that continues to impact the audio world today. They transformed the world’s most well-known and precise measurement microphones into the most transparent and faithful professional audio microphones available on the market today. The omnidirectional 4006 microphone was one of the first recording microphones developed by DPA and remains one of the most popular recording microphones in the world.
