The YDS-150 is equipped with a breath sensor that detects the intensity or pressure of your breath, allowing you to finely control not only the volume but also the tone.

In total, the YDS-150 features 73 instrument sounds, including 56 saxophone tones, electronic instruments, wind instruments such as the shakuhachi, oriental flute, Irish pipe, and many more. External ConnectionsThe new Yamaha YDS-150 electronic saxophone is equipped with an auxiliary input for connection with other devices such as smartphones and audio players, a headphone output, a micro-USB port, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. You can play along with music from an external source* or with other musicians (* available only when using headphones or the headphone output).
You can also modify settings, sound adjustments, fingering, and other instrument controls at will using the dedicated smartphone app-making your playing experience even more enjoyable.
