BeatStep can work with your computer as well as your favorite synthesizer. It can also be used as a step sequencer, a rhythmic trigger with its pads or a controller to control your software synths via its assignable encoders at will.

Compact and robust, this controller will follow you everywhere.
Despite its compact size, the surface of a BeatStep provides you with no less than 16 encoders, 16 pads, transport keys and access to the main functions. All this is easy to assign using the Midi Control Center software available for free on the Arturia website.

A Midi controller that knows how to adapt to your system.
Your instruments and sequencers are on your PC or Mac? BeatStep will trigger them or control them via its USB port. Do you use Korg volca? You can adapt to it via analog synchronization. Do you have a modular system? No problem, BeatStep has a CV / Gate output. In short, the BeatStep provides a solution in all circumstances.

The Beatstep d'Arturia can be used as a traditional controller. But its advantage lies in the possiblity of using it as a standalone sequencer (no need for a computer).

Thanks to its different connectors, it can quickly become a formidable tool:

- In USB control virtual instruments on a computer (Mac or PC) or even an iPad via the camera connection kit because the BeatStep is class compliant.
- MIDI control and sequence expanders, sound modules or synthesizers
- In CV / GATE sequence modular synthesizers or other analog devices.


All this is complemented by a simple and intuitive interface to reconnect with a hardware tradition very popular today.
