Yamaha - Transverse FluteThe flutes of the 300 series are meticulously hand-adjusted and tested by being played by experienced craftsmen. These are flutes that meet the needs of intermediate levels.
300 Series Headjoint
The headjoint is a very important part in determining the sound of a flute. The flutes of the 300 Series are therefore equipped with a headjoint made of 92.5% pure solid silver for a warm and dark tone.
The flutes feature a double-tapered bore and a uniquely cut inner core offering excellent response and a rich, warm sound. More advanced musicians will appreciate its agile and consistent response across all registers.
KeyworkThe shapes and placement of all keys have been ergonomically designed to offer playing comfort and a natural hand position. The keys are assembled and adjusted by hand so that their balance and "touch" are perfect.
Yamaha student and intermediate flutes are equipped with pointed keywork that provides a refined and high-end finish, similar to professional flute models.
Adjustment ScrewsA unique locking system for the adjustment screws prevents them from gradually loosening while allowing precise adjustment. Their positioning has been changed to facilitate access.
