Dismantled after three days of use on my Yamaha LL-TA, a sound too "fat", hollow, lacking snap and a touch that lacks sensation, I much prefer the Elixir nanoweb 80/20 bronze.

An excellent marketing move that has been working for over twenty years - Only the four wound strings are coated with Goretex - It is better to change "normal" strings more often than to leave coated strings that alter the natural sound of the guitar with a quickly "synthetic" sound - I use them exclusively to ensure two to three concerts in the same week - It avoids having to change after each performance...

They may seem expensive at first, but they really last a long time due to the coating, and the feel is incomparable compared to other strings, I have never been able to go back to other brands since I started using these.

Excellent strings that I mounted on my Ovation, they bring a lot of brightness and more sustain. However, on my Martin, they don't add much more, they don't enhance the guitar, I prefer Ernie Ball.

Incredible lifespan without loss of sound quality (power & crystalline) "Antirust"="Antirouille": 5-6 months with cleaning just with a cloth - without FastFret !! (otherwise the coating will come off) / Perfect balance bass-mid-treble / left hand touch soft without squeaking in transitions. Right hand playing with nails and/or picks (unlike other Exilir strings where the coating comes off after a few days of pick strokes...). Even if they are more expensive, these strings are the best in terms of balance and aging, the most pleasant to play, that I have tried to date. (PS: they are sometimes cheaper at Thomann ;-).
