Death by Audio Robot Effects Pedal8-Bit Pitch / Ring/ Lofi/ Granualizer
The Robot is a low-fidelity 8-bit pitch transposer, with no sentiment. It is completely synthetic and turns any input into a mashed-up resynthesized robot jargon. It features a super lo-fi bendable fuzz, an octave up, an octave down, and arpeggiation. All modes are controlled by the control knob, which sets the frequency at which the chip operates, modifying and distorting the pitch shifting and aliasing effects.
Controls
- Volume: Controls the main volume.
- Control Knob: Located on the right side of the pedal. Controls the pitch of the effect. When turned fully clockwise, it is at its maximum pitch. When turned down counterclockwise, it lowers the pitch or the speed of the arpeggiator.
- Rotary Selector:
- Normal: same pitch with 8-bit digital conversion when the control knob is turned fully clockwise. If you turn the control knob down, the pitch is lower.
- Octave Down: the control knob turned fully clockwise produces a very unpleasant octave down sound. If you turn the control knob down, the pitch is even lower.
- Octave Up: the control knob turned fully clockwise produces an octave up sound.
- Arpeggiator: The pitch arpeggiates in a sequence. The control knob adjusts the speed of the arpeggiator.
