The Audio Technica AT4047MP reproduces warm vintage sound with very low self-noise, boasts a wide dynamic range and accepts a high sound pressure level. Side pickup microphone, it is a polarized capacitor (DC bias voltage) with three directivities: omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-of-eight. Much like the AT4047SV from which it was created the AT4047MP provides sonic warmth reminiscent of that of the first studio transistor field-effect microphones.
