Yamaha is the originator of the portable amplifiers that revolutionized guitar playing away from the stage or studio. The new THR®-II Series takes it to the next level: new guitar amp models, new bass amp models, new pickup models for electro-acoustic guitar, and a "flat" mode for connecting all your other instruments. All three new THR amplifiers feature Bluetooth® connectivity for audio playback and editing via the THR Remote app. The THR30II Wireless and THR10II Wireless amplifiers also include a built-in wireless receiver that pairs perfectly with an optional Line 6® Relay® G10T transmitter, as well as built-in rechargeable battery operation so you can play wherever you want.

VCM (Virtual Circuitry Modeling) technology

VCM technology recreates all the subtleties that traditional digital simulations can't approach, giving everyone the performance of the best analog effects.

15 GUITAR AMP MODELS + 8 EFFECTS

3 banks of 5 amp models are available to provide the widest range of sounds, from crystal clear tones to the densest saturation. Each bank also offers a different bass amp model and a mic model for electro-acoustic guitar. A "flat" mode allows you to connect another device such as a keyboard or electronic drums. The THR-II also features a dual effects processor. The first one offers a selection of the best modulation effects and the second one offers Reverbs and Delays Dynamics processing (a compressor and a noise gate) are accessible from the THR Remote application.

EXTENDED STEREO TECHNOLOGY

Developed in collaboration with Yamaha's Audio/Video Division, the THR-II series offers true Hi-Fi stereo sound, unheard of in the guitar amplifier industry. The unique cabinet and speaker design provides both optimal amplification of your guitar and perfect listening to your stereo backing tracks, producing an ideal listening mix.

BLUETOOTH® CONNECTIVITY

All THR-II models feature Bluetooth® connectivity for audio playback, and the Mobile THR Editor app lets you edit your own custom presets from your device.

EDITING FROM YOUR IOS®/ANDROID™ DEVICES.

The "THR Remote" editor offers the ability to control your amp from your smartphone. There's no need to be in front of your amp to make even the finest adjustments. Simply launch the app and sculpt your ideal sound from your couch. The editor is also available for Mac and PC.

BUILT-IN WIRELESS RECEIVER

The THR10II Wireless & THR30II Wireless models feature a built-in wireless receiver. Use of a Line 6 Relay G10T transmitter (accessory sold separately) is required.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

The THR10II Wireless and THR30II Wireless models include a rechargeable (lithium-ion) battery that provides up to 5 hours of play time. AC adapter included for all THR-II models

STEREO OUTPUTS

One of the most common requests from early THR users was to be able to use their amp in the studio as well as in rehearsal. The THR30II Wireless features 1/4" stereo outputs for more flexibility in recording and performing.

Not disappointed! The reviews are good and so is mine... I chose it for the possibility to connect a looper in parallel via its audio outputs and auxiliary input, not affected by the amp settings; it's rare on small amps and it works great with this one. The item is beautiful, the sound is good even at low volume with a quantity of settings already quite sufficient without using the app. It goes from a very natural sound perfect with an electro-acoustic to all the auditory pleasures of the electric guitar; if you want to nitpick, a wah-wah modeling would have been great... The possibility to use it as an MP3 speaker is a real plus and the sound is top in this function with a great spatialization (less powerful but less directive than the Marshall Woburn that I also own). So cool that just by looking at it you already love it and it increases when using it... The THRIIW30 fan club has a new member!... (Show more)

Wouhouuuuu, in the taming phase, it takes a little time, however the potential is immediately noticeable, quality settings, precise, clean sounds and power more than sufficient at home. Another dimension opens when you install the thr30 app, you need to buy a cable and a USB/phone adapter, well you'll find that, it cost me 6 euros at Leclerc. The app is as clean as the amp, it's precision madness. I play jazz rock on an elite strat I can't wait to record little things on the PC, because, yes, a cubase keygen is provided, A pedal is missing for the 5 presets, that's true... In Bluetooth speaker mode, well no way to take it to a party, too risky :=)

Excellent amp. I hesitated for a long time with its little brother, the thr 10... but I regret nothing. The modeling is amazing and the speakers do their job very well. See guitar will surprise you. As for the Line 6 g10 (not included), don't hesitate to take the basic version, without charger because the amp performs the charging. I tried the amp in "soundbar" mode on my TV and also in Bluetooth speaker mode and again, the sound is of very good quality. A bit expensive, it's true, but I regret nothing, which is quite rare for me ??.

Very happy... easy to use, not too bulky, the sound is very nice for working at home. Then the possibility to connect it wirelessly to a tablet/laptop, or via USB to a computer, is really a big plus in its use and in managing the settings saved in memory.

very good small amp, the sound pleasantly surprised me. Use the mobile app to fine-tune the effects then save in the 5 memories. I use it with the replay GT10 II, no latency and the same sound quality as wired. I recommend it.
