MOOER burst into the music world in 2010 with the first mini-format guitar effect pedals. The original concept was developed by four friends, all passionate about the combination of music and technology, in the city of Shenzhen, China. Since then, MOOER has become one of the market leaders by offering high-tech products with professional sound to musicians worldwide.
In April 2020, MOOER unveiled version 2.0 of the MNRS engine (MOOER Non-linear Response Sample). At the same time, the brand began collaborating with experienced instrument designer Kenji Wong to develop the GTRS line, the first electric guitars featuring a fully integrated MOOER effects system.
With GTRS, MOOER's goal was to offer the latest audio technology to musicians while paying tribute to the guitar: a product that would inherit the beauty of traditional guitars while benefiting from the comfort of modern technology. Thus, passionate musicians could play more often at home or on the road without any compromise on their sound!
After years of research and development, the first prototype was made available to professional guitarists worldwide. Thanks to their feedback and input, the GTRS guitar was updated and modified until the release of the first model in the S800 series. A Premium model with alder body and a new pickup set is also offered under the reference P800.
