CBR series speakers are equipped with carefully selected and optimized drivers: a dynamic, low-inertia woofer with a 2.5" compression driver motor (CBR15 model) or 2" (CBR10 and CBR12) delivering high precision, ensuring high-definition sound and minimal distortion even at high sound pressure levels. Additionally, a constant directivity horn with a wide dispersion angle reduces sound quality degradation when positioned off-axisa common issue with most conventional horns. This specific horn distributes sound evenly over a wider angle, including the farthest corners of the listening area.

Have you ever damaged speakers by pushing them beyond their limits? The CBR Series speakers include a protection circuit that prevents excessive levels at the tweeter. This valuable protection circuit allows you to use your speakers worry-free when you need them most. Thanks to a highly responsive woofer, the CBR Series delivers clear and precise sound reliably at all sound pressure levels.

The CBR series features a compact, sturdy, and lightweight plastic enclosure, making these speakers extremely convenient to transport. Their elegant steel front grille enhances durability and protects the drivers from external damage, while ergonomic handles provide a secure grip and easy setup.

CBR series speakers are equipped with a Speakon connector and a 6.35 mm jack, ensuring quick and easy connection in both professional and consumer environments.
Ingenious design for stage monitor use.
CBR series speakers have a 50° beveled edge for use as stage monitors. Additionally, the CBR12 and CBR15 models are symmetrically designed, allowing mirror-mode configuration to create a stereo monitor system.
Rigging points for permanent installation.
CBR speakers come factory-equipped with M8 threaded insert points for easy hanging. Traditional mounting brackets or eye bolts can also be used.

Optional protective cover
Yamaha has designed highly functional covers to protect your speakers from adverse weather conditions during outdoor use, dust during storage, or potential damage during transport. Openings allow access to handles and rear panel. Use of the speakers with the cover on is possible thanks to its design allowing proper ventilation.
