The Compact Successor in the MG Series
The direct successor to the MG-300, the MG-300 MKII advances NUX's all-in-one philosophy in a portable and affordable format. Its TSAC-HD "White-Box" engine models the behavior of amplification stages to deliver natural compression, tone, and dynamics of legendary amps, while remaining easy to edit on the device or via the QuickTone editor.
Who It's For and Intended Uses
Ideal for beginner to advanced guitarists seeking a
versatile multi-effects unit for rehearsal, stage, and recording. Blues, rock, pop, modern metal, or ambient: the palette covers elastic clean tones, organic overdrives, and tight distortions. Compact and rugged, it easily integrates into a pedalboard or serves as a
direct rig to PA, audio interface, or headphones.
Key Features and New Additions
The MG-300 MKII includes 1 Noise Gate, 2 compressors, 13 overdrives/distortions, 1 Touch Wah, 2 EQs, 14 modulations, 7 delays, and 5 reverbs, including the
new Shimmer. The special
Patch Level (P.L) block can be placed anywhere in the signal chain to balance volumes between scenes and effects. The
Pro Scene Selection function offers up to three scenes per preset for instant live switching. Built-in looper and drum machine facilitate timing practice and arrangement building. For control and connectivity: integrated
expression pedal,
USB-C port for editing/USB audio,
TRRS headphone output compatible with microphone for streaming, and dedicated mic-level settings with noise gate. The
QuickTone editor allows easy management of patches, parameters, and IRs.
The Sound
The sound prioritizes attack, dynamics, and
play responsiveness. Amp models maintain clarity in clean and "chew" in crunch, while distortions range from vintage drive to modern high-gain. The
impulse responses (IRs) of cabinets and microphones add depth, projection, and realistic color. The Shimmer reverb expands the sonic space for ethereal pads and atmospheric intros. Thanks to the P.L block, scene transitions remain level-consistent both on stage and in the studio.
