Positioned as the most compact nearfield model in the A Series, the A4V carries the iconic ADAM Audio sound signature while introducing major advancements. It succeeds the spirit of historic compact models while offering digital control, optimized dispersion, and modern studio integration.
The A4V is aimed at home studio creators, podcasters, sound designers, and composers seeking faithful listening at close range. Its small footprint and controlled dispersion make it an ally for tight workstations, multichannel configurations, and compact immersive systems.
The X-ART tweeter, manufactured with high precision, is mounted at the center of a HPS waveguide that pivots 90 degrees. This maintains wide horizontal directivity and controlled vertical dispersion whether the speaker is upright or laid on its side, ensuring a stable image and ultra-detailed high frequencies.
The woofer uses a multilayer mineral fiber cone combined with an optimized motor. The result: high output level, low distortion, and sharp transients, guaranteeing precise foundation without smearing.
The hybrid topology leverages Class D amplification on the woofer for efficiency and bass control, and Class AB on the tweeter for smooth and natural high-frequency reproduction. 24-bit conversion and an internal 96 kHz clock ensure a clean and coherent digital chain.
The internal DSP offers three voicings (UNR, Pure, Ext), a 4-band equalizer (Bass, Desk, Presence, Treble), and firmware updates via Ethernet. The A Control software enables real-time remote control and integration of room correction filters, including compatibility with Sonarworks, to finely tune the response to your environment.
