Alpha Evo monitors provide excellent sound consistency regardless of where you are listening. For renewed performance, Focal has chosen the Aluminum inverted dome tweeter, which ensures wide dispersion of sound, and the exclusive Slatefiber cone acclaimed for the neutrality and dynamics it offers. Alpha Twin Evo is characterized by excellent dynamics, the neutrality of the tonal balance and a great dispersion allowing to maintain an identical sound signature on a wide sweetspot. This monitoring speaker is equipped with a 25 mm (1") aluminum tweeter and two 16.5 cm (6.5") woofers with Slatefiber cone, a cone made in France in the Focal workshops.
Evo for Evolution. Alpha Evo monitors are also equipped with a new 6.35mm TRS jack input, a disengageable automatic standby mode and inserts for wall and ceiling mounting: the line is truly versatile (Mix, Mastering, DJ , broadcast). With its new technologies and multiple features, this studio monitor is very versatile. The bass-reflex design of Alpha Evo monitors ensures easy acoustic integration in the tightest spaces. On the aesthetic side, the cubic shape of traditional monitors gives way to rounded contours while the cheeks reflect a sleek, robust and modern design contributing to performance. Alpha Evo monitors are made of a 15 mm thick MDF cabinet and incorporate internal reinforcements to ensure great rigidity of the cabinet, even in the highest sound pressure levels. Alpha Twin Evo is positioned horizontally; it is possible to choose which loudspeaker will produce the mid frequencies thanks to the switch located on the rear plate (It is recommended to keep the mid loudspeaker inside, therefore on the right for the left speaker and vice- versa).
