Dava PICK MASTER CONTROL METAL END

Register here and stay informed about the next restock

Description

The exclusive Dava molding technology allows for a single pick with several hardnesses "on hand".
To achieve this, one must simply get closer to the end because it is flexible at its center.
In addition, some models have two types of materials: a black rubber for grip and nylon or metal for the attack of the ropes.
Result, an excellent comfort and a sure grip with a precision of attack rarely reached.
Brand reference number: DAV-0109

Flexible and hard pick at the same time depending on how you hold it! The metal tip is perfect for giving a metallic edge to the sound, the attack is powerful, in short, a must-buy for all metalheads!

I love the handling of the DAVA picks. They are great picks. It seems that the iron tip damages the strings, but I haven't encountered any issues after several years of use. I recommend them!

Good handling. Quite a special feel on the strings, I had some time to adapt. Small flaw: if you tend to hit the strings hard, it creates wear on the edge that becomes irregular and could damage the strings... I say "could", I haven't really noticed it yet after 2 weeks of use (about 8 hours of playing).

I agree with the previous opinion regarding the metallic noise, you either like it or you don't, it's a matter of taste. The plastic is a bit smooth, which does not allow for excellent grip of the pick in the hand, especially near the tip where there is no anti-slip mark, there is a kind of molding instead (see the photo). However, it is true that you can really attack the strings, recommended for metalheads.

not convinced, I thought the material was anti-slip but it's hard plastic and can slip after a few minutes of use. I don't like the metal tip at all which will screech excessively on thick ropes, which might force us to be careful precisely to avoid that... but well, maybe I should use it more often.
