Use
First use in a 100 m2 room with 2 Eurolive VP1520 speakers as front speakers. A delight! Power between 9 and 10:30 (potentiometer position) is sufficient. A small downside, I had a VP1800S subwoofer (passive sub) delivered the day before, I read and reread the user manual, struggled all evening in vain to get any sound out of it. Behringer should specify that the MONO OUT output of the mixer is ideal for powering ONLY an ACTIVE subwoofer. Apart from this detail, which ruined my evening, the mixer with the two VP 1520 speakers is a delight. No overheating, at the end of use the mixer remained cool. For those interested, after some thought, I solved the problem of my passive sub: just connect it to output A or B of the PMP 4000 mixer and associate it with one of the two front speakers. There are probably other solutions... I have sound quality that surpasses my home cinema (in the variety domain, always). I find the same sound quality as in my home studio setup, it's great. I highly recommend the PMP 4000 and if you also need to buy speakers, go for Behringer. Warning, connect all satellites before turning on the mixer otherwise watch out for your ears. You absolutely must read all pages of the manual in detail. Two years after purchase it is still there, in stereo configuration, a VP1800S sub on each side, each sub extended by a VP1520 speaker. The hum of the mixer's fans is not heard in the speakers; the sound is pure, deep, perfect.... (Show more)
