Description
Developed with Jérôme Verhaeghe, clarinetist at the Paris Opera, the “Privilège” is designed for orchestra playing. In addition to great acoustic qualities, it offers a slightly higher pitch than the other Selmer models in order to better match the clarinet section.
Key: B-flat. Bore Ø: Ø 14,60mm. Pitch: 442. Delivered with two barrels of 65,5 and 66,5 mm. System: standard Boehm (17 keys, 6 rings) with left-hand Eb lever. Barrels, body and bell in grenadilla wood. Keywork: silver-plated nickel silver. Adjustable thumb rest. White leather pads with metal booster in the low register. Metal tenon sockets (male + female). Blue steel springs. Two-colour ring: matte black chromed gold plated. “C85/120” Selmer Paris mouthpiece. Special “Privilège” case.
