For fans of the unmistakable sound of a Blackguard Tele® – punchy lows, creamy mids, and crisp highs – the Custom Shop '50-'51 Blackguard Telecaster® pickups are faithful recreations of the originals. Made with large diameter Alnico 3 magnets and non-slanted in the bridge pickup and Alnico 5 in the neck pickup, they are wound with 43-gauge enamel wire for authentic performance and tone.
Featuring an open, bright, and full-bodied sound, these pickups showcase a rare collection of characteristics from the earliest existing versions of the 1950 Blackguard Tele®.
