The Fender® Custom Shop Dual-Mag II Stratocaster® pickups produce a well-balanced sound with clear, shimmering highs and rich lows thanks to a blend of alnico magnets. They are equipped with non-angled alnico 5 magnets from the low D to the G string and hand-angled alnico 2 magnets for the B and high E strings. Additionally, each pickup is wrapped in a copper shielding tape to reduce noise.
It features a custom offset with a "low G" magnet that ensures a smooth transition between wound and plain strings. The alnico 5 under the G string makes the note sing just right, and the alnico 2 B&E magnets are slightly taller than the original specifications to help create balance between the strings. The Dual Mag II Strat® pickup lives up to its name with two magnets that offer you one of the clearest and most balanced sounds you can hear.
