The NT4 houses two 1/2-inch condenser capsules, each with a cardioid polar pattern. The 90 deg angle between the two capsules creates precise and immediately usable stereo, ideal for capturing a wide source or room while maintaining a well-defined center.
With a max SPL of 143 dB, the NT4 handles powerful sources (drums, percussion) without collapsing, while preserving the detail characteristic of condensers. Its extended frequency response helps capture both the foundation and the air, useful for ambiance recordings or sound design textures.
