The D1 has a total of 30 expressive sounds. These sounds obviously include the acoustic piano to cover genres such as classical, jazz and pop, but also electric piano, organ, vibraphone, acoustic guitar, strings and harpsichord sounds that can be useful on stage. To obtain a playing sensation close to the acoustic piano, KORG has developed four different samples that are triggered according to the dynamics of your performance. Cutting-edge technology has also been implemented to faithfully reproduce the resonances of a grand piano. From a delicate touch to dynamic fortissimo, the sound responds realistically to your playing for an authentic experience.
The functionality and portability you expect from a digital piano
The chassis structure has been redesigned with a new structure and a design that reduces the depth of the piano to 26 cm. In addition, the D1 is very mobile and can be carried anywhere in its dedicated SC-D1 soft case (sold separately). Standard size LINE OUT jacks that can be connected directly to powered speakers or a recording device makes it easy to use on stage or at home. The KORG D1 also has an integrated metronome that can be turned on or off as desired. A Layer mode allows you to layer two sounds. Three high-quality effects are also integrated: brilliance, reverb and chorus.
